Today, the Damascus Countryside branch of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision was inaugurated in Al-Marjeh Square in Damascus.
The branch includes three departments whose mission is to carry out economic and administrative audits and mark the work of about 290 public sector entities in rural Damascus, and to process the insurance files received from these entities to the branch by 66 inspectors and workers.
In a statement to reporters, the head of the Central Organization for Financial Supervision, Muhammad Barq, confirmed that the Damascus Countryside Branch was established according to the new organizational structure that was officially approved by the Organizational Structures Approval Committee, and issued by a decision according to which public authorities are subject to the supervision of inspectors close to it, with the aim of simplifying and facilitating the affairs of citizens who are auditors and issuing checks. workers in the state.
Barq pointed out that within the branch's plan for the current year is the marking and study of 20,000 documents for various employment conditions, and auditing and studying the work of about 212 administrative entities and 77 public entities of an economic nature, including companies, institutions and branches, stressing that the presence of all departments of the Rif Dimashq branch together in one place One that contributes to saving time and effort for citizens, and speeding up the completion of marking and control operations.
The Governor of Rif Dimashq, Safwan Abu Saadi, pointed out the importance of opening a branch of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision in the Rif Dimashq Governorate to correct the work in all institutions and companies of the economic and administrative public sectors, and to give correct advice to the exchange officials, indicating that this “temporary” branch and all government agencies affiliated with Rif Dimashq will move in The near future to Markaz city in Damascus countryside.
In a statement to “SANA”, the director of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision in rural Damascus, Musab Qablan, explained that this branch is the thirteenth of the Central Agency, and its establishment comes within the framework of the administrative reform project and conducting effective control over state funds, indicating that the control and auditing operations of public sector entities Subordinate to Rif Dimashq Governorate, it is now implemented by a single entity, while it was previously under the jurisdiction of several directorates in the apparatus.
