The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today (Thursday) extended the detention of one of the suspects in the gang rape of a mentally challenged woman in an abandoned building in Jaffa.

The arrest of the 18-year-old suspect was extended until Sunday.

The other three suspects are 21, 17 and 15 years old.

The police representative said at the hearing that it was a "horrific case" and that the suspects "used her as a sex doll".

According to him, the suspects took advantage of her mental state.

The 18-year-old suspect's lawyer claimed that he did not know the victim, even though she recognized him in an identification order, and asked for an alternative to detention, but the judge ruled that it was a "serious and difficult incident", and agreed to extend the 18-year-old's detention.
