A VTC driver was extorted and assaulted on the night of January 24 to 25, in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne),

An investigation has been opened for "
robbery with violence in a meeting with a weapon and extortion
", confirms the parquet floor of Créteil.
That night, shortly before 3 a.m., the driver picked up two young people in their twenties around the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis).
But once they arrived at their destination, rue Audran in Vitry-sur-Seine, the situation degenerated completely.
One of the two passengers threatens the driver with a weapon, without it being known at this stage whether it is "
real
" or fake, by placing it on the back of his neck.
The driver is forced to hand over his two phones after having to erase the cloud.

The armed individual then forces the driver to get out of the vehicle while the second individual sprays him with tear gas.
The driver was then punched and kicked while he was on the ground.
The attackers steal 160 euros in cash which are in the passenger compartment before fleeing on foot towards the national road 305 (RN305).
The victim is taken care of by the firefighters and treated on the spot in stride.
The attackers forgot a pair of gloves in the victim's vehicle while a potentially exploitable camera was present not far from the scene.
