With their 200 meter high limestone cliffs and their hundreds of legendary routes, the rocks of Presles (Isère) are a major site for climbing in France.
On the border between Isère and Drôme, at the gates of Vercors, its routes are frequented each year by seasoned climbers, as well as by a family audience.
But this year, the site may not see the usual parade of practitioners, who sometimes come from afar to climb its cliffs.
Since January 13, a large part of the sector has been prohibited from access, following a decision by the owner of the premises.
