- What security problems does the repatriation of the 15 women and 32 children previously detained in the jihadist prison camps in northeast Syria pose?

These repatriations expose our country to a double difficulty.

First of all, there is a direct security issue, since it is established that the majority of women who joined Daesh were determined, often even more so than the men themselves, and this, whether or not they participated in acts of violence.

Their return to France therefore sooner or later exposes all of our citizens to the risk of violent action committed by one or other of them.

Then, the return of these women further reinforces the ideological risk posed by Islamist proselytism.

A form of prestige halo indeed those who left to join the Islamic State with a fortunately minority fraction, but…
