Last week Ilana Sporta was convicted in the Magistrate's Court in Kfar Saba for making threats against the family members of former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
The court convicted her on the basis of a plea agreement reached between the prosecutor's office and Sporta in that she would be convicted in the threats section and the offenses of possessing and carrying ammunition would be removed from the indictment.
The investigation of the case began with the arrival of the first letter of threats, which arrived on April 25, to which were attached two live bullets and threats of murder addressed to the Prime Minister's son, Yoni Bennett, and to his wife Gilat.
The second letter arrived on April 28 and surprised the investigators, so they realized that this was a serious incident and took into account that the sender of the letters had access to ammunition and the ability to carry out the threat.
One of the letters reads: "This is the bullet that will hit and target your Gilat the swindler or you Naftali Bennett the swindler, resign my advice to you."
