This morning (Friday) a 38-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Bat Yam when he was hit by a vehicle driving near him.
The deceased is a known criminal and the brother of a senior member of a criminal organization.
The MDA teams that arrived at the scene on Hanaviyim Street in the city had to pronounce him dead on the spot.
MDA paramedic Dror Ben Rubi said: "The motorcyclist was lying on the road about 30 meters away from the motorcycle, unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing with a head injury. He received medical treatment and we performed resuscitation operations, but his injuries were critical and we had to pronounce him dead."

Tonight (Friday) a 40-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when he skidded on Route 2 heading north, near the Hoof Hasharon interchange.
MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to the Ichilov Tel Aviv Hospital with a head injury, while he is sedated and ventilated.
