Prince William and Princess Kate are reading Prince Harry's memoir - but all is not as it seems.

Photographer Alison Jackson has focused on the imaginary private lives of the royals.

As an artist, she dares to look behind closed palace doors.

London – Now the photo that the world has been waiting for has finally been published: Prince William (40) and Princess Kate (41) apparently read Prince Harry's (38) controversial memoirs "Spare" in bed in the evening.

Or is there something wrong?

While the alleged heir to the British throne turns the pages in disgust, does the supposed Princess of Wales treat herself to a little snack before going to bed?

The Royal fans probably didn't want to know that exactly.

So far, they have kept to themselves whether the royal family has read Prince Harry's "Spare".

The world is dying to know if the royals have read Harry's book of memoirs since it was published.

So far, every member who has ventured outside the palace doors since Jan. 10, from Prince William to King Charles III.

(74), then asked: "Have you read 'Spare'?".

No wonder: Prince Harry's work is full of explosive details, intimate anecdotes and full of bitter allegations.

Of course everyone wants to know how the work is received by the Windsors.

But so far they have remained silent.

In the photo, of course, not everything is as it seems.

William and Kate are not sitting here, but doubles of the royal couple.

The image was captured by award-winning artist and photographer Alison Jackson (62) in collaboration with Birds Eye Green Cuisine.

Alison says, according to

Mirror

, “My work is about bringing to light through art the imaginary private lives of public figures.

It's the behind-the-door look we'd all like to see.”

Prince Harry's "Spare" is a success story

Media Control, the book industry's official partner for market analyzes and bestseller lists, has determined that "Spare" (German title: "Reserve") was already heading for 100,000 copies sold after just a few days.

Women in the 30-39 age group were particularly interested in the memories of the Duke of Sussex.

The sales figures of the first few days were already well above those of other bestsellers.

On January 10 alone, the first day of sale, around 40,000 Harry books (the German edition) were sold in Germany, more than twice as many as the autobiography of former US President Barack Obama ("Ein promised land").

In fact, the British photo and video artist had been playing mouse with the royals long before the Green Cuisine advertising campaign.

Her Instagram account is teeming with staged scenes of a fairly realistic doppelganger of Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022), who, during her lifetime, sits at the piano with a fake Elton-John (75) in full monarch garb and a corgi rehearsing a song for her platinum anniversary, on another "snapshot" the Queen lets Elton John try on her crown "for fun", a Camilla double usually holds a high-proof drink in his hand.

For Jackson, Prince Harry's memories quickly became a template, Birds Eye Green Cuisine, as a distributor of plant-based products, took advantage of the moment as an advertising partner.

It is highly doubtful whether the Duke of Sussex or the Royals will also make money from it.

Prince Harry has taken care of things for a while with his bestseller from the publishing house Penguin Random House full of anecdotes and scandalous stories.
