Under the Summary Offenses Ordinance, any person who, without lawful authority or manifest need, drives on a pavement, or drives recklessly or negligently in a public place; and or does any conduct which damages or hinders a public place, transport or traffic, They may be guilty of "driving or riding on pedestrian roads" or "causing damage to public places/waterways/transportation/traffic/obstruction". Upon conviction, they may be sentenced to 3 months' imprisonment or a fine of 2,000 yuan.
