In appreciation of his efforts to pursue his educational attainment, in addition to his work in the General Electricity Company of Aleppo, and his obtaining this year a certificate of human medicine, the Ministry of Electricity honored at its headquarters today the worker, Muhammad al-Hamada.
The Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil, stressed during the honoring the role of will and self-confidence in the success of a person in achieving his goals, regardless of the difficulties, noting the efforts of the worker Hamada in pursuing his educational attainment, as well as continuing his work in the General Electricity Company in Aleppo as a guard.
In a statement to SANA's reporter, Ben al-Hamada stated that he had set his sights on pursuing his university studies, which he had interrupted for several years, to obtain a license in human medicine, overcoming the difficult circumstances he went through, but he was able, with hard work, persistence and determination, to achieve his goal.
Hamada, who joined the service of knowledge during the period of interruption from his studies, referred to the support and encouragement he received from his family, friends and colleagues at the university, to continue the path of knowledge and obtain a university degree that he is proud of, as it was the fruit of a great challenge and hope.
Hamada pointed out that he would like to continue studying a medical specialization in a hospital in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research or the Ministry of Health, expressing his hope to obtain an exception from the age condition to achieve this.
Regarding the reconciliation between study and work, Hamada indicated that the nature of his work as a night watchman allowed him enough time in the morning to work at the university, to attend practical sessions and lectures, in addition to organizing the time in a way that enables him to perform his job duty and not fall short in it.
It is noteworthy that Hamada, after obtaining the new academic qualification, submitted his resignation from work at the Aleppo Electricity Company, to continue studying the specialization, considering that the years of his work in the company were an important station in his practical life, and his work as a doctor later was a new step that would enable him to serve his community in another field.
