All doctors in the clinic, especially the trauma surgeons, take care of the victims of black ice.” The hospital has prepared accordingly for the upcoming weekend: Normally, only one trauma surgeon would be on duty.
Due to the current situation, according to Kühn, “all three trauma surgeons are on duty”.
They are expected to be on duty throughout the weekend as well.

According to the clinic spokesman, “in our emergency room we are currently caring for a particularly large number of patients” who have had accidents on slippery, wintry roads.
