The anthem of the sovereignist right in power since 2010 in Budapest is well known: all opponents of Prime Minister Viktor Orban are anti-Hungarian and in the pay of foreign countries.
But this time, Fidesz puts forward arguments, with the publication of a very embarrassing secret service report for its adversaries.
According to their information, structures linked to the opposition have received, from abroad, a total of 4 billion forints, or just over 10 million euros, to campaign during the legislative elections last year.
Theoretically, this information should have remained classified for thirty years, but the leader of the Fidesz parliamentary group, Máté Kocsis, saw fit to make it public by publishing it on the Parliament's website, on the grounds that "
it is an action without precedent which grossly violates the sovereignty of the country”
