A No. 3 alarm fire broke out in Tsuen Wan.
At about 4:11 a.m. on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year (27th), 3 to 4 iron houses in Henglong Village on Tsuen Kam Highway caught fire.
The firefighters rushed to drag the throat for rescue, and raised the fire alarm to level 3 at 4:39 in the morning. The area of the fire was 30 meters by 30 meters, and 6 hoses and 6 smoking cap teams were dispatched. Finally, at 6:56, Almost put out the fire.
During the fire, about 70 villagers were evacuated. Two people, an 80-year-old man and his 15-year-old grandson, felt unwell after inhaling smoke. They were both sent to Renji Hospital for treatment.

What was seen at the scene was a row of iron houses blazing with flames, thick smoke sweeping through the air, clearly visible in the distance; adjacent to the fire site, large trees were affected, and vehicles were "buried in flames" on the side of the road, only the frame of the car was burned.
Many residents, wearing only pajamas, fled to the open grassland for shelter. Rescuers opened nearby empty containers and let some residents go inside to keep out the wind and cold.
The Fire Services Department issued a special notice at 5:34 a.m., appealing to members of the public to close doors and windows and remain calm if they are affected by the smoke and odor drifting with the wind.
