Monaco – Charlène of Monaco (45) should have felt a stone in the run-up to her milestone birthday.
After dramatic and turbulent times, the princess is doing better today than it has been for a long time.
As of November 2021, twin mother is finally reunited with her family in Monaco and returned to public service in May 2022.
But now the princess is apparently involuntarily thwarting her husband's plans.
So far unclear: has Charlène also been infected with the corona virus?
According to local reports, Prince Albert of Monaco (64) has tested positive for COVID-19 for the third time. The day before Charlène's big day, of all things. After all, the head of the picturesque principality on the Côte d'Azur seems to be symptom-free.

The fact is: Charlène did not accompany Albert and the eight-year-old twins, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, to the 45th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo last Sunday, which caused great irritation in the Principality.
While Albert had to cancel his appearances at the Sainte Dévote Day celebrations on Thursday and Friday, Charlène will be thinking about what to do with the cake he ordered and if and how she wants to follow up.
Albert of Monaco infected with coronavirus for the third time
The Monegasque prince was the first head of state to contract COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
In April 2022, Albert tested positive for the virus a second time.
One day before Charlène's 45th birthday, the illness overtakes him for the third time.

“It was supposed to be a surprise party, but Charlène decided to take the reins herself.
It will be a celebration at the palace, with family and friends.
She asked Julien Dugourd, pastry chef at La Chèvre d'Or restaurant in Eze, to make the cake.

Whether and when Charlène will celebrate is still in the stars.
