Paul Pelosi is attacked in his home (San Francisco Police)
On October 28th, Paul Pelosi, the husband of former House Democratic Minority Whip Nancy Pelosi, was attacked in his home.
The assailant, David DePipe, bludgeoned Pelosi with a hammer before being arrested by officers seconds after they arrived at the home.
The 82-year-old Pelosi was thrown to the ground and suffered a fractured skull.
On Wednesday, a judge in San Francisco ordered the release of the body camera footage of the attack by the two officers who arrived at the scene.
In the video, Pelosi is seen holding the attacker's hammer, while the officers ask what is going on.
De-Pipe seizes this moment, takes the hammer from Flossie's limp hands and strikes him.
The two cops jump on DePipe and handcuff him.
Since Nancy herself was not in town at the time, there was no security around the house.

Pelosi underwent head surgery and is recovering.
DePipe is expected to stand trial, at the end of which he could receive up to 50 years in prison.
