How do you recognize a mountain wine?
More than the altitude, it is the type of landscape that plays on the definition of a mountain wine: rocky massifs, fragmented plots, vertiginous slopes, steep hillsides, frosts, so many constraints that involve a very important manual work of the share of winegrowers, and therefore prices in tune.
This is no doubt how to explain that the Center for Research, Studies, Protection, Coordination and Valorization of Mountain Viticulture (CERVIM) designates it as a “heroic” vineyard.
