A technician working on a telescopic urinal, which can retract into the floor when not in use, died after being crushed by the device in the heart of London on Friday, police say.
Emergency services were called early in the afternoon to rescue a man who was crushed while working on a telescopic urinal, according to Scotland Yard.

", police said on Twitter, adding that a security cordon remained in place.
According to the firefighters, the man had found himself trapped below street level by this device, deployed in the evening in this lively area of the heart of London where there are many theaters, bars and restaurants.
A winch was used to free it and significant rescue resources deployed, including 25 firefighters.
