Stunned in Jerusalem following a killing spree near a synagogue where the terrorist murdered about 7 Israelis this evening (Friday).

Eyewitnesses to the shooting attack that took place tonight (Saturday) in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood described to Israel Hayom the chilling chain of events that accompanied one of the worst attacks Israel has known in recent times. 

A 9-year-old boy, a resident of the neighborhood, said: "I was walking down the street with my older brother and suddenly we heard gunshots. A terrorist with a gun got out of the vehicle and started shooting at people. He shot at a motorcyclist who fell on the road. My sister yelled at us to run and we ran away."

Yossi, an eyewitness resident of Neve Ya'akov, said: "I was in my house and heard the shots. I went outside. Near the bus stop I saw a woman lying on the floor with a shot in the head and next to her an elderly man who was also shot in the head. A few meters away, two motorcyclists were lying on the road shot . I'm sure they were already dead. Next to them lay a young woman who had injured her leg. Further down the street, on the train tracks, lay another man."
