Likud activist Rami Ben Yehuda called a person on Twitter a "heathen" and "not of the seed of Israel" and received a warning letter before filing a defamation lawsuit and a demand for compensation in the amount of NIS 100,000. In the letter, the lawyer stated that Ben Yehuda hurt his client, who is the son of a Holocaust survivor


Likud activist Rami Ben Yehuda called a man named Yoram Klein on Twitter "a heathen" and "not of the seed of Israel" and today (Friday) received a warning letter before filing a defamation lawsuit and a demand for compensation in the amount of NIS 100,000.

In the letter, the lawyer stated that Ben Yehuda hurt his client, who is the son of a Holocaust survivor.



Lawyer Yair Olmert, who is identified with the protests against the legal reform and the new government, sent the letter to the Likud activist in which he warned of his intention to file a defamation lawsuit against him, in addition to a demand for compensation in the amount of NIS 100,000.

This follows Ben Yehuda's statement, which, according to Olmert's attorney, called the son of a Holocaust survivor a "heathen" and not a Jew.

Ben Yehuda was one of the leaders of the demonstrations outside the homes of Yamina and New Tikva people, including the harassment of family members, and expressed harsh words against the members of the change government from the right-wing parties.

After the document in which he attacked a protester at the Hamad interchange was circulated last September, he was suspended from his post in the Likud campaign for the elections, for which he was paid.
