Getting
the first job
is a key moment in the working life of any person.
And most of the time it is not easy, not only because of the
scarce job offer
in certain areas, but also because experience or skills are usually required of young people who have
not yet entered the market
.
Taking this problem into account,
the Push Foundation
, made up of a network of companies, young people and a team of volunteers that seeks to promote and enhance labor insertion, opened the registration for the
"Your Employment" program
that includes
more than 400 vacancies, totally free
.
The scholarships are intended for
young people between the ages of 18 and 24
who come from vulnerable sectors.
The objective is that they acquire tools that enhance their job skills and can get a first formal job.
The Foundation is made up of a network of companies, young people and volunteers that promote job placement.

The Push Foundation has 16 branches, more than 2,700 graduates and a network of more than 1,300 volunteers who participate and
support students and their development
.
The employability rate reaches
72%
of the boys who graduate.
In addition, more than 500 companies -mostly Argentine SMEs- make up the network and community that provides donations, corporate volunteering and formal employment to the participants.
“Each young person who obtains a formal job
changes their quality of life
, their expectations and that of their peer group.
Personal development comes hand in hand with insertion into the formal labor market.
And the network of local companies and allied volunteers are essential to travel this path, since they are agents of change for personal progress” says
Germán Lojk
, Executive Director of the Foundation.

What does the training of the "Your Job" program consist of?
All the courses that make up the "Your Job" program are intended not only to train and
acquire tools
to enhance job skills for their first job, but also to
connect young people with companies
and the world of work.
For this reason, they will be trained in the preparation of the CV, in how to look for a job, they will have mock individual and group interviews with Human Resources experts who are in charge of selecting personnel in their companies, etc.
Upon completion of the training, they will receive a
certificate
attesting to their participation in the program.
In parallel, the young people selected will also have a
"Labor Intermediation Program"
, a kind of job bridge.
It works like this: the area receives formal job offers from companies that need to fill vacancies and connects them with graduates looking for an opportunity to enter the job market.
Young people will have mock job interviews, among other training sessions.
