After 12 years of marriage, Jay Ingram decided to reveal married women who start dating him online in an original but slightly creepy way

Gold Coast, Australia car dealer Jay Ingram recently became single after ending a 12-year relationship.

He claimed that when he was last single, Tinder didn't even exist and that his exposure to the current dating world was enlightening for him - in a bad way.

He says that he was shocked to find out how many women were busy flirting and trying to start with him online.

So he embarked on a slightly strange mission where he is going to expose all the cheating women who started with him - by photoshopping himself into their romantic photos together with the cheating partner.

His revenge campaign receives a lot of criticism online.

Ingram said in an Instagram story that one of his New Year's resolutions is to publicly shame women who have approached him - if he finds out they "already belong to someone else", as he intends to edit and insert himself into their couple photos.

In a story he shared on Jan. 4, he said: "You know what I realized over the Christmas break? A long time ago the ladies posted a story with your men under the Christmas tree in your matching pajamas and all your couple wishes and it... you were basically in my inbox, At the same time and for several months - and it's not just one or two (women), it's a lot."

He added: "One of my New Year's resolutions is that I'm going to be honest about things, so in my next story I'm going to name all of you. Stay tuned."

Ingram then posted a video warning women who sent him "dubious" messages that he would Photoshop himself into their couple photos - and share them publicly.

"If you have a man and you send me a questionable message, I'll just photoshop myself into your couple photos and post them," he said.

Subsequent videos shared on his Instagram story showed Ingram "joining" several photos of couples in love.

One photo shows Ingram sitting on the edge of a cliff with a couple next to the caption "We're on vacation."

Another shows Ingram placing his hands on a woman's stomach in front of a Mercedes G-Class, with the woman's partner on the other side.

Another photo shows the three in an awkward embrace in front of the Sydney Opera House with the caption "And here we are tourists".

It is unclear if Jay's claims about the women are true, as he has not shared screenshots of the messages he claims to have received from them.

However, the 33-year-old is now facing criticism for his "extreme" antics, with many coming out against his behaviour.

"Why bother? Instead of trying to expose the cheaters, focus on finding yourself the company you're looking for," one commented.

"It's a little weird," said another.

Another follower claimed Ingram's mission to be a "yes" on social media was "delusional" and added: "Yeah yeah, he thinks he's a godsend and women just line up for him."

While many questioned the motivation for Ingram's revenge spree, some praised him.

"Nice work," wrote one and another added: "It's time for the truth to come out."

Speaking to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Ingram defended his actions and claimed he "grew up with values".

He said: "Where I grew up, everyone was involved in each other's affairs. If you did something wrong, everyone knew. On the Gold Coast, you can avoid a lot of problems without being caught. Cheating is not a fun thing that should happen to anyone. I grew up with values."
