Asked about LCI, the Polish Prime Minister hoped that “other nations would free themselves from the Russian Federation” where they are, according to him, “in prison”.

“Chechnya could take its independence”.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki did not mince his words in an interview broadcast this Friday, January 27, on LCI.

Questioned by Darius Rochebin, the Prime Minister hopes that

"other nations will free themselves from the Russian Federation"

where they are, according to him,

"in prison".

"Jails"

"There are parts of Russia that are prisons for other nations,"

says Mateusz Morawieck.

These parts of Russia could be liberated, like Chechnya for example.

They could take their independence.

They have fought for their freedom for centuries and for the past few decades they have been fighting with great motivation.

I believe that this country deserves its independence”.

Chechnya experienced two wars with Russia, from 1994 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2009. After this second conflict, Russian federal control was restored.

The country is now led by Ramzan Kadyrov, a strong supporter of Vladimir Putin.

The Polish prime minister also said he wished

“our Russian neighbours”

the

“best in the context of a normal country, normal development and normal relations.

This is what all countries want to happen with Russia.

Unfortunately this is not what was expected of them in recent decades, in recent centuries.
