President Joe Biden spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and offered him all the "appropriate means of support" - this is what the White House said today (Saturday).
This, following the deadly shooting attack in Jerusalem in which seven people were killed, including the couple Eli and Natalie Mizrahi.
Earlier this evening, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States condemns the attack.
"The United States strongly condemns the terrible terrorist attack," Blinken said, "we are in close contact with our Israeli partners and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Israel's security."
The White House said that President Biden instructed the National Security Advisor to offer assistance to Israel in dealing with the "heinous terrorist attack".
"A horrifying act of violence in a synagogue in Jerusalem on International Holocaust Remembrance Day," said Tom Neides, the US ambassador to Israel.
"I am shocked and disgusted by this heinous terrorist attack that harmed innocent people, including children. We pray for the safety of all the victims and their loved ones."
Likewise, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan also condemned the incident, and spoke on the phone with his Israeli counterpart Tzachi Hanegbi and expressed his condolences for the victims of the attack.
