There was a hanging case in Wan Chai.
Today (28th) at 6:37 a.m., an 84-year-old man surnamed Zheng hanged himself with a nylon rope on the roof of a building at No. 59 Wanchai Road, Wanchai. His wife found him and untied him, and called the police for help.
Officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report. Zheng Weng was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital in a coma for emergency treatment. He was finally confirmed dead. The police seized a suicide note at the scene.
It is understood that Zheng Weng has a record of physical illness.
