On the other hand, the attack was condemned around the world and President Biden spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu during the night. According to the White House, the President offered extensive support to Israel and the government, by all necessary means, and emphasized the commitment of the US to Israel's security.

"I am shocked and disgusted by this despicable act of terrorism against innocent citizens, including children. I pray for all the victims and their loved ones."

Meanwhile, the Biden administration offered its assistance in solving the crisis, with the intention of not dragging Israel into a security escalation.

"We condemn the terrorist attack on the synagogue in Jerusalem, which claimed many lives," the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced.

"We fear that the attacks, which have increased recently, will develop into a spiral of violence, and we call on all parties to take all the necessary steps to calm the spirits. Our condolences to the families of the victims, to the government of Israel and to the people, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
