Five individuals aged 18 to 21 were indicted and imprisoned by the Mulhouse prosecutor's office (Haut-Rhin) after violently punching and stabbing a man, and even attempting to set him on fire, learned

A judicial inquiry has been opened.
The suspects - Ayoub B., Adam I., Daouda G., Malamine Y. and Makiese S., of Congolese nationality - are all known to the police, a source close to the case tells us.
The facts took place on Wednesday January 25 shortly after 1:30 a.m., rue Josué Hofer, northwest of the city.
The police were called for a violent brawl during which about twenty individuals, who arrived on the scene in several vehicles, literally attacked a young man.
The latter, aged 21 and also known to the police, was punched and stabbed in the left thigh and arms.
Then one of the assailants doused him with a flammable liquid before attempting to immolate him with a firework mortar.
Without success.

The rapid arrival of the police made it possible to intercept a Citroën C3 vehicle which was fleeing with five individuals on board.
They were arrested and taken into custody shortly after.
The victim, for his part, was transported to a hospital without vital prognosis.
According to our information, this outburst of violence, with the air of a punitive expedition, would be the result of damage committed by the victim on a vehicle belonging to one of the attackers.
