A fire broke out in a factory building in San Po Kong.
At 5:17 a.m. today (28th), smoke and fire erupted in the stairwell 9 of Yongxian Factory Building, No. 31-33, Wufang Street. Black smoke spewed out the window and rolled into the air.
Firefighters rushed to the rescue after receiving the report, but there was no report of injuries for the time being, and three people were evacuated.
By 8.53am, the fire alarm had been raised to three.
[10:34] A man was unwell and was sent to hospital by ambulance.
[10:30] Firefighters used two jets and five smoke cap teams to fight the fire.

The 14-storey Yongxian Factory Building was completed in 1969 and is 53 years old.
The external wall of the industrial building is being refurbished, with scaffolding and nylon mesh installed.
There was no fire at the scene, but the industrial building continued to emit billowing smoke, and firefighters raised the ladder to spray water for rescue.
Affected by the fire, Sze Mei Street cannot turn out of Choi Hung Road.
