"This is a very serious attack," said MDA paramedic Fadi Dekidek, who arrived first at the scene of the incident. "We saw a woman and four men lying on the road.
They suffered from gunshot wounds and had no signs of life and we had to pronounce them dead on the spot." Senior medic Shmuel Alfasi added: "We arrived at the scene very quickly and the sight was shocking.
We saw casualties lying on the road and immobile."
"At the beginning of the street, a 15-year-old boy was lying unconscious with gunshot wounds to his upper body," said Lior Shasha about the young man injured in the attack.
"We put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to Hadassah with his mother accompanying him, where he was immediately transferred to the operating room."
MDA medics Eli Gartner and Kobe Weizman added: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw people in the distance signaling for us to come.
We got off the ambulance and started running towards it.
The sight was very difficult, we continued and saw a woman fully conscious with bleeding wounds from gunshots in the hand and leg.
We put her in the ambulance and evacuated her to Shaare Zedek Hospital, her condition is defined as moderate and stable."
