The couple Eli and Natalie are the victims of the shooting attack that took place yesterday (Friday) in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Five more people were killed in the attack, and two more people were seriously injured.
Eyewitnesses said that the couple were murdered while trying to help the other wounded in the attack.
It was also said that Natalie was killed while she was performing CPR on other injured people.
Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital reported that the two seriously injured are a 15-year-old boy and a 24-year-old young man.
The attack was carried out by Hayeri Alkam, 21 years old from East Jerusalem, who has a blue ID card.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the terrorist arrived by car at the entrance of the synagogue in the neighborhood, opened fire at the worshipers and continued driving.
He was neutralized at the end of a police chase after him, during which he shot at them.
After the assessment of the situation led by the Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu stated that "we need to act with determination and composure", he said.
"I call on people not to take the law into their own hands, for this we have the army."
