The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied Palestinian territories, which left a number of martyrs and wounded.
"We affirm the solidarity of the government and people of Iraq with the people of Jerusalem, and we demand an end to the hostile attacks on those who are safe there," ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement today.
He added, “We renew our firm and principled position on the Palestinian cause, which was and still is a pivotal issue.”
Yesterday, nine Palestinians were killed, and dozens were seriously injured, in a new massacre by the occupation forces, after they stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
