Damascus-SANA
Temperatures remain 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above average, as a result of the country being affected by a surface depression accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
And the General Directorate of Meteorology expected, in its morning bulletin, that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, turning to cloudy at times, so that the opportunity is ripe for light showers of rain over separate areas of the country that will be heavy and sometimes accompanied by thunder over the coastal and northwest regions.
The winds will be easterly to northeasterly over the northern regions and the island, and westerly to southwesterly between light and moderate over the rest of the regions with active gusts exceeding 60 km/h, especially in the southern and southeastern regions and the island, and the sea is light to medium wave height.
And tomorrow... temperatures will tend to drop, while remaining 2 to 4 degrees higher than average, and the weather will be partly cloudy in general, with the chance of light showers of rain over separate areas of the country.
