The police are preparing with increased forces:

despite the deterioration of the security situation, the protest against Levin's legal reform will resume today (Saturday) in Tel Aviv and will take place like last week - two demonstrations in Tel Aviv, one on Kaplan Street and the other by the Movement for the Quality of Government in the Bima Square.

After last night's murderous attack in Jerusalem, it was decided that this week no music would be played and the demonstrations would begin with a minute's silence in memory of the murdered.

The police were prepared with increased forces for the expected demonstrations this evening.

Beyond the traffic regulations and the roadblocks, the police will also emphasize the fear of attempts to carry out a mass attack.

Following the attacks, in the last day the police raised the alert to the highest level all over the country.

The police called on citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious person and object.

Following the serious attack in the Neve Ya'akov neighborhood in Jerusalem, the demonstrations will begin with a minute of silence and no music will be played.

The leaders of the two demonstrations explained that despite their identification with the families of the victims, they consider the struggle for democracy to be of utmost importance.

"The murderous attack last night in Jerusalem tears the heart and soul. We share in the pain and mourning of the families of the murdered and wish for the recovery of the injured. The events will begin at 19:00 with a minute of silence and will be held in a different format, without music and while participating in the pain of the families of the murdered," the headquarters said.

"Even in these difficult days, we have the duty to fight for Israeli democracy, against a dangerous, cynical and irresponsible government."
