At least three people were killed today, and four others were injured, in a shooting incident in the US state of California, the fourth of its kind in a month in the region.
The Associated Press quoted Sergeant Frank Preciado of the Los Angeles Police Department as saying: “The shooting occurred in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, where the four injured were taken to hospital, and they are in critical condition.”
This is the fourth mass shooting in California this month, and comes a week after a massacre in a ballroom in a Los Angeles suburb that left 11 dead and nine wounded, and just days after a gunman opened fire at two mushroom farms south of San Francisco, killing seven people. and injuring a person.
