A man in his sixties died after a fire broke out in his house in Damascus.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement, a copy of which SANA received today, that the Al-Qasaa Police Station was informed by the Operations Command of a fire on the second floor in a house on Boutros Al-Bustani Street near the Burj Al-Rous intersection, where a patrol from the aforementioned police station and a group of the Damascus Fire Brigade went to The scene of the fire, they evacuated the house and took one of the people inside the house to Al-Mujtahid Hospital, but he died as a result of suffocation.
The ministry pointed out that the fire has been brought under control and investigations are continuing to find out its cause.
