The security tensions:

a car was set on fire tonight (Sunday light) in the Palestinian town of Turmus Aya in Judea and Samaria.

The suspicion is that this is a price tag operation after the attacks in Jerusalem.

YMR forces arrived at the scene and began investigating the incident. At this stage, there are no suspects involved in the incident. According to local residents, "a group of settlers blocked a road in the village and burned a car, the fire spread to a nearby house and another vehicle was vandalized."

Among other things, it was claimed that cars were set on fire in the village of Majdal Bani Fadel near Nablus, and stones were thrown at passing Palestinian cars.

On two occasions since the attacks in Jerusalem in which seven Israelis were murdered, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that "the law must not be taken into one's own hands" and that the response of the security establishment would be swift and powerful.
