A verified GoFundMe campaign started in memory of Tire Nichols has raised more than $1,082,050 as of Sunday afternoon.

The GoFundMe was set up by Nichols' mother, RowVaughn Wells, and reads in part: "My baby was just trying to get home to be safe in my arms. Tire was unarmed, non-threatening, and respectful of police throughout." the meeting".
