Manned aircraft remotely attacked a convoy of trucks in eastern Syria, it was reported this evening (Sunday) in Arab media.
According to initial Arab reports, the echoes of explosions were heard in the city of Buchmal in eastern Syria at the same time as the international coalition's anti-aircraft missiles were flying in the area. This is an area close to the border with Iraq.
According to the Syrian Center, which is affiliated with the Syrian opposition and is based in Britain, aircraft attacked refrigerated trucks in the Buchmal region of eastern Syria, which led to their destruction.
The center also reported deaths and injuries in the attack.
According to sources of the Syrian center, six refrigerated trucks entered the area from Iraq before the attack took place, at the same time as a UAV belonging to the international coalition. After that, ambulances rushed to the area of the attack.
At the same time, sources told the Saudi Al-Arabiya network that before the attack, 25 trucks crossed from Iraq to Syria through a crossing controlled by Hezbollah.
According to the report, aircraft fired a warning shot that allowed the drivers to leave the trucks before the attack.
