Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" Becomes a Gold Mine for Universal Music 0:48
(CNN) --
Taylor Swift has released the video for her song "Lavender Haze," from her latest album.
Swift's latest video debuted on Friday, just one day after launching a new project to her social media followers.
The mind-blowing video shows Swift in a room looking sad until she is enveloped in a lavender haze, surrounded by flowers and a purple aura.
She has shared that the song is about her relationship with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn and her desire to stay in a space that doesn't let outside noise in.
"I came across the phrase 'lavender haze' when I was watching Mad Men, and I looked it up because I thought it sounded cool, and it turns out it's a common phrase that was used in the 50s to simply describe love," he explained on social media. when to release the song.
“If you were in the lavender haze, that meant you were in that all-encompassing glow of love.
I thought that was really beautiful."

Swift continued: “I guess in theory when you're in that lavender haze you'll do anything to stay there and not let people get you down from that cloud.
I think a lot of people have to deal with that now because we live in the age of social media, and if the world finds out that you have a crush on someone, they're going to weigh in on that.
Just like my relationship of six years, we've all had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff and just brush it off.
This song is about the act of ignoring those things in order to protect the real things.”
The artist also wrote and directed the video, as she did with other videos for "Midnights" songs, such as "Bejeweled" and "Anti-Hero."
