Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Israeli occupation continues to besiege the city of Jericho, east of the West Bank, for the second day, and impose strict measures on its checkpoints in the surrounding villages and towns.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces strengthened their military presence at the northern and southern entrances to Jericho, and on bypass roads in the vicinity of Jericho, and searched Palestinian vehicles, coinciding with the flight of an occupation drone over the nearby Aqabat Jaber camp.
In addition, settlers closed the entrance to the village of Yasouf, east of Salfit, in the West Bank, and attacked Palestinian vehicles and assaulted their property.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces closed last night Al-Quds Street leading to the southern entrance to Jericho in front of the Palestinians. They also closed the northern entrance and detained dozens of vehicles for hours at the entrances to the city.
