The Jerusalem District Police arrested a short time ago today (Sunday) a suspect in the attack and threats directed at the media teams on Friday from the scene of the attack in the Neve Ya'akov neighborhood in Jerusalem.
During the attack, some of the participants rioted, shouted and tried to disturb the media teams that were there and at one point even broke the order by knocking down fences.
The police officers who were operating at the scene, kept the rioters away and acted to prevent friction and violence against the media teams and the journalists Segal and Ben David.

The police investigation revealed that the arrested suspect (in his 30s, a resident of North Jerusalem) threatened and rioted, so he was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning on suspicion of threats and assault.
The police stated: "We call on the public to refrain from bullying and violence of any kind, both towards journalists performing their work in the field and towards any other person."
