A 37-year-old woman was disfigured with a cutter by her ex-companion on Saturday January 28 in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne),

The victim had separated from this man about a week ago, after several months of living together.
This barbaric attack took place at 1, avenue du Moulin de Saquet, near Place de la Liberation, around 9:30 p.m.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the man would have waited for his ex-companion at the pedestrian exit of the parking lot of his residence.
Then he would have rushed at her, punching her in the face with a box cutter.
The victim, who had several deep lacerations on his face, was rescued by passers-by before the arrival of firefighters.
She was then transported in absolute urgency to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital (Paris 13th), specializing in maxillofacial surgery.
His vital prognosis is not engaged.

The identity of the suspect was quickly established.
According to our information, he is an Algerian, subject to an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), known to the police under three different identities.

He is wanted in Italy and has been in prison in Spain
," a police source told us.
Several places he used to frequent were searched immediately after the incident.

The police also attempted to geolocate his number.
Without success.
The suspect's operator was indeed unreachable.
The Créteil public prosecutor's office entrusted the investigation to the Val-de-Marne departmental judicial police service (SDPJ94).
