Today, polling operations began in 131 constituencies in Tunisia, as part of the second round of parliamentary elections.
And the Tunisian News Agency reported that 262 candidates are competing in the second round of the Tunisian parliamentary elections, who did not obtain the majority of votes during the first round of the elections, so that the competition in the second round will be for 131 seats out of a total of 161.
In the first round of the elections that took place on the 17th of last month, only 23 candidates won, including 3 women who ran for constituencies abroad, while 7 constituencies abroad remained vacant due to the fact that no candidacy was registered.
