The “Qasad” militia, supported by the American occupation forces, intensified raid campaigns and repressive practices against citizens in the areas it occupies. Today, it raided several areas in the southern countryside of Hasakah and the Rumaila neighborhood in the city of Raqqa, as a result of which it kidnapped dozens and took them to an unknown destination.
Local sources told SANA that armed groups affiliated with the militia launched large-scale raids today in the city of Al-Shadadi and its surroundings in the southern countryside of Hasakah, and in the Rumaila neighborhood in the city of Raqqa. its ranks.
The sources pointed out that the people fear that the “Qasd” militia continues to pursue their children in the areas of its spread, to force them into its ranks, as dozens of families have lost contact with their children since they were kidnapped by militia militants in several areas.
It is noteworthy that the kidnappings carried out by the "Qasd militia" against the people of the Syrian al-Jazeera region are not new, despite the increase in their frequency during the past few days, which sparked widespread anger and discontent among the citizens who went out in several demonstrations denouncing the arbitrary practices of the militia.
