15 members of the Internal Security Forces were wounded, as a bus carrying them was targeted today by an explosive device on the Damascus-Daraa highway.
The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement today: “During the implementation of the Internal Security Forces members’ tasks in Daraa, and on their return to Damascus, terrorists targeted with an explosive device the overnight bus carrying them near the Khirbet Ghazaleh Bridge on the Damascus Highway in Daraa, which led to the injury of fifteen members of varying degrees. Seven of them are seriously injured.
The ministry added: “Patrols from various police units in Daraa governorate attended immediately, and the wounded were treated to several hospitals,” noting that investigations are continuing to uncover terrorists and take legal measures against them.
