Eight people were killed today and three others injured in a shooting in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
Reuters quoted local authorities as saying: The shooting incident occurred during a birthday party, after two gunmen opened fire on the guests gathered in a house, killing eight people and wounding three others.
The authorities indicated that an investigation was opened into the accident to determine its causes and uncover its circumstances.
