A worker fell from a height this afternoon (30th) at a site in Choi Sha Street, Ma On Shan.
The police received a report at 5:00 p.m. that a male worker at the Kinmen construction site on Choi Sha Street fell from a 25-meter-high scale and fell to the working platform on the second floor. Firefighters arrived at the scene and tried to rescue the victim from the platform to the ground. (USAR) also arrived at the scene for rescue, and the victim was rescued at nearly 7:00 p.m., and the victim was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital by ambulance.
According to on-site news, someone witnessed the victim climbing to a 25-meter-high scale and then falling. The victim was unconscious, without breathing or pulse.
The case was initially classified as "a person fell from a height".

It is understood that the incident happened on the Baishi student dormitory site of the City University of Hong Kong, which is currently under construction to the second floor.
According to sources, someone witnessed the male worker involved climbing up to the 25-meter-high scale by himself and then jumping off.
On-site news indicated that after the incident, the firefighters arrived at the scene to try to rescue the victim. After removing the boards and iron supports from the scene, they rescued the victim in a hammock, hoisted the victim to the platform on the first floor with a scale for initial first aid, and then sent a person with a hammock to the construction site. The industrial bucket was hoisted back to the ground, and the victim was sent to the hospital in an ambulance. During the hospital, the ambulance staff kept giving him first aid for extracardiac pressure.
