Will she eventually move back to the Vogtland?

The pop singer on the MDR Riverboat answers this question with a resounding no.

Leipzig – When Kim Fisher (53) and Matze Knop (48) invite you to the riverboat talk, the stars come.

On January 27, 2023, Sky du Mont (75), Dorit Gäbler (80) and Stefanie Hertel were among the guests.

The hit star chatted about her beginnings as an artist, her childhood and her homeland.

Stefanie Hertel (43) makes it clear that she definitely wants to stay in Bavaria.

Stefanie Hertel has found her home: together with her husband Lannny Lanner and daughter Johanna, the pop singer has been living in Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria for 25 years.

However, she was born and grew up in the Saxon Vogtland.

"Didn't you think about moving back to the Vogtland at some point?" Riverboat presenter Matze Knop asks curiously.

"It's beautiful here.

You can live well here, too,” he continues to advertise for Saxony.

Stefanie Hertel is not surprised by this.

"I get asked that question a lot," she smiles.

“It is so that I could very well imagine moving back to my homeland in the Vogtland.

It's really beautiful here.

I have my family, many friends," explains the pop singer.

However, she does not want to leave Bayern behind either.

"But I can't imagine leaving where I live now.

I've lived in Chiemgau for 25 years, in the village where I live now for 15 years," says Stefanie Hertel.

Above all, the Bavarians themselves have done it to the pop singer, as she continues: "The area is of course beautiful, but the area is not the only one.

But I'm so rooted in the people who live there."

She is also a big fan of the many Bavarian traditions.

Stefanie Hertel stays in Bavaria: Daughter Johanna also feels at home here

In addition, Stefanie Hertel reveals that her Bayern love has now spilled over to daughter Johanna (21).

"Johanna in particular always said: 'Mom, so if you leave here, I'll stay here,'" the pop singer recalls with a laugh.

Johanna also seems to be very happy in Bavaria, which Dad Stefan Mross (47), who was born in Bavaria, is certainly happy about.

Incidentally, the 21-year-old is building up a second mainstay alongside music and is currently training to be a confectioner, as Mama Stefanie proudly explains.

Stefanie Hertel is suddenly less happy when moderator Matze Knop makes a joke about folk music.

The cliché that every folk musician can automatically yodel seems to annoy her.

With an iron face, Stefanie Hertel countered the riverboat moderator.
