The foolish time has begun: Hundreds of carnival fans celebrated at balls in Steingaden and Wildsteig over the weekend.
District – The sports ball of TSV Steingaden has long since ceased to be an insider tip.
After a two-year forced carnival break, the Steingaden sports club once again organized the athletes' ball on the site of the former Fohlenhof, which is now known beyond the borders of the Oberland.
The TSV organizers, led by Stefan Schuster and Matthias Gerold, had achieved great things with their numerous volunteers.
This is how the athletes' ball turned into a successful "mega party".
Even before admission at around 8 p.m. there were long queues of people at the entrance to the “Zimmerstadel”.
Everyone wanted to be the first to get a safe seat at the bar.

The capacity of 500 guests was already reached at 10 p.m.
The barn was so full at this time that no one could have fallen over.
"DJ Küss Küss", alias Alexander Mössmer, from Steingaden, who was able to inspire all visitors and carnival fools at this "mega party", ensured the best atmosphere.

Other highlights of the evening were undoubtedly the performances by the Hohenfurcher Prince Guard, the men's guard from TSV Steingaden and, last but not least, the Schwabbruck show dance group.
All performances caused great enthusiasm among the audience, which is why the dancers had to add a few encores, which were applauded with a lot of applause.

All in all, a successful start to the Steingaden carnival, which inspired the "Maschkera" after the Corona pandemic.
Until the early hours of the morning they celebrated the first carnival ball in town.

There was also a great atmosphere at the Wildsteiger carnival start in the packed community hall.
After the Corona break, the country youth and farmer's ball attracted the colorful and varied costumed guests in droves.
The mood was terrific, the gymnast girls showed a show dance and had to add a few extras, the rural youth showed a performance to the Musikantenstadel, which also received thunderous applause.
Among the guests, disguised as Emperor Nero, was Mayor Josef Taffertshofer, who swung his legs to the sounds of the Wildsteiger Musikkapelle.
