Before the grand finale flickered across the screens on Sunday evening (January 29), Danni Büchner contacted her around 316,000 Instagram followers with a personal assessment of the jungle final.
"I tell you yes and I say it every day, the jungle queen is Djamila and Gigi is the jungle prince," explains the "Goodbye Germany" emigrant, who was in the jungle camp herself in 2014.
“And yes, what can I say, there is another candidate.
If you express your opinion, you will be blocked by the family.
Funny," she fires at Lucas, "Well, Djamila for the Queen."
Is the "jungle camp" really filmed in the jungle?
Since the first jungle camp episode flickered across the screens on January 9, 2004, the station has often been accused of not filming the format in a real jungle.
Although it does appear on television that the belligerent celebrities are sitting in the shade of palm trees, dozens of kilometers from civilization, it's not quite that extreme.
Because "I'm a Celebrity" is filmed on a farm near the town of Murwillumbah, which is in the Australian region of New South Wales.

So it's not the deepest jungle, but neither is a TV set with artificial trees.
