The auto company Ford will recall some 462,000 sports vehicles for a defect in the rear cameras that has been associated with at least 17 accidents in the last three years.

Affected vehicles include the 2020 through 2023 model year Ford Explorer, Lincoln Corsairs and Aviators pickup trucks.

Your 360 degree rear view cameras may malfunction and display a blue screen that affects the driver's ability to see when driving in reverse.

No one was injured in the reported accidents.

In 2021, Ford recalled more than 228,000 vehicles for a similar problem with its car's rear cameras.

Dealers will now need to update the imaging module software on affected vehicles.

Vehicles that had already been recalled in 2021 will also need the new software update to prevent the blue camera screen issue from occurring.
